Hong Kong IPO Allotment & Capital Allocation Calculator

Enter the cash you can use this week. The calculator tests skip, one lot, A-tail and B-head using scored return probabilities, then builds a higher theoretical expected-net reference list for research only — not subscription advice.

This page uses the same win-rate forecast data as the IPO forecast pages, then adds your cash, margin multiple, fees, and overlapping freeze periods to compare one-lot, A-tail, and B-head capital use and theoretical expected net returns. It is not a separate competing calculator.

IPO allocation and capital questions

How is this calculator different from the win-rate forecast page?

The forecast page estimates one-lot probability and average A-tail and B-head allotment for each IPO. This page uses those same forecasts with your cash, financing, fees, and overlapping freeze periods to build capital-allocation scenarios.

How are one lot, A-tail, and B-head calculated?

One lot uses the forecast probability of receiving at least one lot. A-tail and B-head use expected allotment at their respective application tiers, less application fees and margin interest. Official issuer results remain definitive.

What is free and what requires Pro?

One-lot win rates, basic funding settings, and the allocation workbench are free. A-tail, B-head, top-hammer, full tier tables, and deeper allotment scenarios for active IPOs require Pro.
